Frequently Asked Questions

We have listed some questions you may have before coming on a cruise with us.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have more!

  • Can I customise my booking?

Sure! We will always do our best to accomodate your needs.

Destinations, pick-ups, activities, catering, you name - we are flexible.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

  • What if the weather turns bad?

Safety first, so if conditions are considered dangerous we will reschedule or offer a full refund.

Rain we can handle, as the boat is equipped with a full canopy with large windows offering an unrestricted view while protected from the elements.

  • Is there a toilet available on board?

Yes, there is. There are also numerous easily accesible places to stop en route if required.

  • Are pets allowed onboard?

Pets welcome! Please let us know in advance for life jacket sizing (Yes, pets need lifejackets too).

(For any persons with allergies reading, please note that the boat gets cleaned thoroughly daily.)

  • What vessels do you operate?

We own and operate a 26 ft Nimbus Nova. A typical and popular "walkaround" daycruiser with a top speed of 35 knots.

The boat is CE certified, as required by law, and approved for category C waters (inshore)  meaning "coastal waters and large bays and lakes with winds to Force 6, up to 27 knots, and significant seas 7 feet high."

In addition to seating for 6 people, the boat is equipped with a full canopy, a bathing platform with an outdoor shower, heating, 75 liter cooler, stereo, and an onboard toilet.

Through our friends and partners in the business, we have access to a number of different boats in various formats and sizes. RIBs, yachts, sailboats, etc, all depending on your needs.

If we can't do it, we probably know someone who can.

  • Safety on board

As a guest and passenger with Salty Beard, rest assured that safety onboard is our number one concern.

We adhere to or exceed all and any laws and regulations that apply to our operation.
